I loved photographing my friend’s new baby. He’s such a doll, and although he wouldn’t sleep, we got some sweet photos of him. Welcome to this world Baby Matthias. We love you!

There is something so easy and fun photographing your good friends and a fellow photog. I walked away from this session with a huge smile on my face and felt more energized than when I walked in. I love that! Last year, the youngest wasn’t walking yet, and now he’s 2, and so big. He killed me with his pirate smile and loudly declared, “cheese”. Of course, the rest of the boys are adorable too and I love thinking back to all the growth and progress each one has made since last year. I love you CAIN family. Enjoy these precious photos!

Senior photos are seriously my favorite. Since moving to Northern California, Justin’s family has become our good friends here and we have enjoyed getting to know them better. With a guitar in hand, you can tell where his passions lie as he played off on and on through our session. He’ll be traveling through 4 countries in Europe this coming spring with his senior class. I can’t wait to hear where life will bring him.

Last year I had the opportunity to donate a portrait session to Compassion for Congo. Anna won the silent auction and decided to gift it to her parents for their 40th anniversary celebration while their family was gathered to celebrate. This is a precious family of Russian decent. They were kind, and so hospitable feeding me both a delicious Russian meal and dessert. I am spoiled! I had a great time watching this family interact and the kids play as I photographed them. Congratulations on 40 years!!!!

A senior at Vista del Lago High School in Folsom, Aaron was cool, collected and seemed like he’d done this before. I loved his easy going personality and his comfort level in front of the camera. He made my job very easy. Aaron shared with me his desire to go into the Air Force and his love for baseball. Congratulations Aaron! I can’t wait to see what the future has for you.

***If your high school senior is still in need of photos, please contact me soon and I’ll schedule your session in the next few weeks.***
