Last year I had the opportunity to donate a portrait session to Compassion for Congo. Anna won the silent auction and decided to gift it to her parents for their 40th anniversary celebration while their family was gathered to celebrate. This is a precious family of Russian decent. They were kind, and so hospitable feeding me both a delicious Russian meal and dessert. I am spoiled! I had a great time watching this family interact and the kids play as I photographed them. Congratulations on 40 years!!!!

A senior at Vista del Lago High School in Folsom, Aaron was cool, collected and seemed like he’d done this before. I loved his easy going personality and his comfort level in front of the camera. He made my job very easy. Aaron shared with me his desire to go into the Air Force and his love for baseball. Congratulations Aaron! I can’t wait to see what the future has for you.

***If your high school senior is still in need of photos, please contact me soon and I’ll schedule your session in the next few weeks.***

When we moved last year, I prayed often that God would bring my oldest a very special friend. To my surprise, she had the hardest time with the move as she left her beloved school and friends behind. This family has been a blessing to us and especially their oldest and the friendship she has with our daughter. We are blessed to know them and my girls are incredibly blessed by their friendship. We love you Martinelli family. You have a precious family.

So, this is by far one of the coolest photos I have ever taken. Pure joy in these two!

It’s always an honor to photograph a fellow photographer’s family! Jen Dwyer is a talented photographer, a friend, and just an awesome person. Go to her website here and leave some love. Chris and Jen attend our church and we have enjoyed getting to know them and their two, precious daughters. My girls adore them and we do too. I’m swooning over these images, the Christmas colors and love that this family displays for one another. Enjoy!

I loved that they found my business card at Java Mama Coffee Shop in Folsom and contacted me for their family photo shoot. I had totally forgotten that I had left some there one afternoon when I was there with my girls. Their little man was so incredibly well-behaved and I loved that they brought their family dog for the shoot. Thank you Watson family for such a wonderful shoot. It was a pleasure and honor to capture these photos for you.
